why?
So my question today is why? Yeah I know, an incredibly vague question, so here are details in the form of a scenario. Why is it that the world around us can't always see the bigger picture. I can understand why they can get so caught up in their everyday life that they lose site of things they have no control over, but it doesn't take but a second to see that there are other people on this planet that live and breathe and move. We get so involved in our own lives, we begin to value our own opinions as if it were the established truth, when in fact it is just one opinion. It stands to reason that there are a few absolute truths in the world, the most important one being the Holy Bible, but the methods of spreading the "Good News" of that book, vary in great degrees. So I ask again, why? Why do we use leverage of sorts to support our opinion so much so that we give no allowance for others to have valued opinions themselves. When I say leverage, I mean authority, position, fame, youth, age or experience. I make a vow, to open myself to opinions of others, so that I may gain insight that I would normally ignore. By doing so, I hope that others will also give credit to the opinions that I present, so long as I present them as what they are, opinions. Hey, do you love Jesus?
